We love pets and believe they deserve top-notch medical care. When possible, we want to deliver that top-notch surgical care at their local veterinary clinic. We work closely with primary care veterinarians to provide board-certified surgical care in the comfort of the animal’s primary care clinic.

A board-certified surgeon, Dr. Jackson has more than 20 years of experience providing complex surgical care for pets. Raised in Southern Illinois, Dr. Jackson found his calling to be a veterinarian at a young age. Growing up with many pets, he forged a lifelong bond with animals. After three years of study at Illinois State University, Dr. Jackson was accepted into the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana. Earning his doctorate in veterinary medicine in 1998, Dr. Jackson continued his studies with a rotating small animal internship at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. Following completion of his internship, Dr. Jackson continued his studies in Knoxville, TN with a rigorous 3-year training program in small animal surgery. Dr. Jackson moved to Chiago in 2002. In 2006, Dr. Jackson completed a multi-day certification test and became a Board Certified Veterinary Surgeon.
For more than 12 years, Dr. Jackson held a variety of leadership roles at Chicago’s largest veterinary specialty center, including Chief Surgeon, Department Head of Surgery and Medical Director. His deep wealth of knowledge, extensive experience, skill and compassion provides clients with a high-level of comfort and confidence surrounding the care of their pets .
